By accessing and using EventCatalog Studio ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

EventCatalog Studio is a visual workspace for event-driven architecture that allows users to model, govern, and collaborate on distributed systems. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of all diagrams, schemas, and content you create using EventCatalog Studio. Your designs are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers.

Our Content

The EventCatalog Studio software, documentation, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software except as permitted by your license agreement.

Service Plans and Billing

Service Plan Overview

EventCatalog Studio offers multiple service plans designed to accommodate different user needs and organizational requirements. Current pricing and plan features are available at https://www.eventcatalog.studio/#pricing and may be updated from time to time. Your access to features and functionality is strictly limited to those included in your selected plan.

Free Plan

Our Free plan provides limited access to EventCatalog Studio and includes:

• Up to 3 editors with diagram creation capabilities
• Unlimited viewers with read-only access
• Unlimited diagrams (editor-created only)
• Maximum of 20 nodes per diagram
• Up to 3 EventCatalog embeddable diagrams
• No payment required

Pro Plan

Our Pro plan is designed for individual developers and small teams and includes:

• One team with up to 8 editors
• Unlimited viewers with read-only access
• Unlimited diagrams with unlimited nodes per diagram
• Unlimited EventCatalog diagram embedding
• Diagram-to-prompt functionality for AI/LLM integration
• Diagram annotation capabilities for documentation and decision records

Enterprise Plan

Our Enterprise plan offers custom solutions for large organizations with:

• Multiple teams with unlimited editors
• All Pro plan features
• Custom pricing and deployment options
• Dedicated support and onboarding
• Self-hosting capabilities where applicable

Billing Terms and Conditions

• Payment Terms: Paid plans require payment in advance via the payment methods we accept
• Billing Cycles: Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected during subscription
• Promotional Pricing: Special offers, including early access discounts, are subject to specific terms and duration limits
• Usage Limitations: Your use of the service is strictly limited to the features, editor limits, diagram limits, and functionality included in your selected plan
• Overage Policies: Exceeding plan limits may result in service restrictions or require plan upgrades
• Refunds: Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as specified in our refund policy

Plan Changes and Pricing Updates

• Plan Modifications: We reserve the right to modify plan features, limitations, and pricing structures
• Existing Customers: Material changes to pricing for existing customers will be communicated with at least 30 days advance notice
• Grandfathering: Existing customers may be grandfathered into current pricing for a reasonable period following price changes
• Plan Upgrades/Downgrades: You may change your plan at any time, subject to our then-current pricing and terms

Data and Privacy

Limitations of Liability

EventCatalog Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may stop using the service and delete your account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
